外電報(bào)道如下：Yao scored 14 of his season-best 30 points in the final period,
but fouled out and could not prevent the
Rockets from taking their seventh straight defeat, a 94-89 loss to the

Foul在體育比賽中，如足球、籃球、拳擊中，可表示“犯規(guī)”，比如：a foul boxing
match（拳擊比賽中犯規(guī)的一擊）；報(bào)道中提到姚明“被罰下場”，用的是foul out。Foul 是“犯規(guī)”，那么foul
out就是因犯規(guī)超過限定次數(shù)而被罰下場。此外，disqualification也經(jīng)常用來表達(dá)此意，簡寫為DQ。
