“二人同心，其利斷金”，這是法國(guó)總統(tǒng)希拉克北大演講時(shí)援引的一句中國(guó)古話。10月26日，正在中國(guó)訪問的法國(guó)總統(tǒng)希拉克走上北大講臺(tái)發(fā)表演講。希拉克在演講中提到，面對(duì)國(guó)際恐怖主義、強(qiáng)權(quán)政治，中法兩國(guó)應(yīng)齊心協(xié)力，承擔(dān)起建筑和諧有序國(guó)際新秩序的國(guó)際責(zé)任。

報(bào)道中的“power
politics”是固定搭配，指“經(jīng)濟(jì)或軍事強(qiáng)國(guó)在國(guó)際交往中所使用的‘威脅’性外交手段”，也就是我們漢語中的“強(qiáng)權(quán)政治”或“強(qiáng)權(quán)外交”?？蠢洌篐egemonies
and power politics continue to be the main source of threat to world peace and
stability.（霸權(quán)主義和強(qiáng)權(quán)政治仍然是威脅世界和平與穩(wěn)定的主要根源。）
值得一提的是，power politics做主語時(shí)，謂語動(dòng)詞單復(fù)數(shù)均可，不過更常用單數(shù)形式。
