據(jù)報(bào)道，香港醫(yī)院管理局為減少內(nèi)地孕婦赴港產(chǎn)子的數(shù)量，擬設(shè)立分級(jí)收費(fèi)制度，所有未接受產(chǎn)前檢查的內(nèi)地孕婦，分娩費(fèi)將大增逾一倍至五萬元。
The Hospital Authority (HA) will double fees for mainland mothers giving
birth in Hong Kong.
The authority encouraged expecting mothers from the
mainland to have pre-natal
examinations prior to coming to Hong Kong. Those who fail to do
so will be subject to a surcharge of HK$9,000 (US$1,153).
報(bào)道中的“pre-natal examination”指的是“產(chǎn)前檢查”?！癗atal”表示“出生的，分娩的”，相當(dāng)于“birth”，如：one's
natal day（生日）；one's natal place（出生地）；one's natal and acquired
faculties（先天和后天的能力）。
相應(yīng)的，natal前加前綴pre-則表示“產(chǎn)前的”，我們也可由它得到其它相關(guān)短語，如：pre-natal care（產(chǎn)前護(hù)理）； post-natal
depression（產(chǎn)后抑郁癥）。
