上周三，國際足聯(lián)主席塞普·布拉特暗示，中國有可能加入到競爭2018年世界杯申辦權(quán)的行列。不過，他同時(shí)表示，他希望能在2014年后繼續(xù)延用世界杯在非洲、亞洲、歐洲、中北美和加勒比海地區(qū)、南美洲輪流舉辦的原則。如果這樣，2018年世界杯舉辦地應(yīng)該不是在亞洲。

依據(jù)上下文，報(bào)道中的“geographical rotation
system”指的是“各大洲輪流舉辦（世界杯的）制度”，也就是我們漢語中常說的“按地域輪流坐莊制度”。
