國葬、國宴

無可否認，俄前總統(tǒng)葉利欽曾是世界政壇上的重量級人物，同時也極具爭議。普京對葉利欽的評價是“率直而勇敢的民族領袖”。對于葉利欽的辭世，俄總統(tǒng)普京表示沉重哀悼，并宣布周三為葉利欽舉行國葬儀式。

He suffered years of cardiac problems that required several major operations.
The Kremlin said President Vladimir Putin telephoned Mr Yeltsin's widow Naina to
offer his condolences. Despite a campaign to discredit him, the Kremlin also
announced that the late president would be given a state funeral on Wednesday.
報道中的“state funeral”指的就是“國葬”?！癝tate”在此表示“與國事有關的，正式的”，如：state dinner（國宴）、state
car（貴賓車）、state visit（國事訪問）、the State Guest House（國賓館）。
此外，因為俄羅斯前總統(tǒng)葉利欽死于心臟衰竭，這里順便提兩個醫(yī)學詞匯：cardio-vascular problem（心血管疾病）；heart bypass
surgery（心臟搭橋手術）。
