7月1日將迎來香港歸國祖國10周年紀(jì)念日。屆時(shí)，國家主席胡錦濤將赴香港出席慶祝香港回歸祖國10周年大會暨香港特別行政區(qū)第三屆政府就職典禮。

報(bào)道中的“swearing-in ceremony”指的就是“（宣誓）就職典禮”。
“Swearing-in”（n. 宣誓就職）源自動(dòng)詞“to swear in”（使宣誓就職），如：be sworn in as Treasury
Secretary（宣誓就職財(cái)政部長）。
相應(yīng)的，“宣誓就職典禮”可表達(dá)為“a swearing-in ceremony”，而“宣誓就職演說”則可說成“a swearing-in
speech”。
