所謂“偏方”即“民間流傳不見(jiàn)于醫(yī)書(shū)的藥方”，報(bào)道中的“folk remedy”指的就是這個(gè)意思?！癛emedy”在此表示“療方、療法”，如：quack
remedies（江湖醫(yī)生的療方）；a good remedy for cold/a good cold remedy（治療感冒的良藥）；a remedy
against poison（解毒藥）。
此外，“偏方”也可寫(xiě)作“folk prescription”。
