互聯(lián)網(wǎng)簡直就是一臺(tái)龐大的“熱詞”生產(chǎn)機(jī)，每天都有大量言簡意賅、好玩有趣的詞語出爐。當(dāng)我們讀到這些詞語時(shí)，時(shí)而會(huì)心一笑，時(shí)而陷入沉思。像前些年的“人艱不拆”、“細(xì)思極恐”、“累覺不愛”、“不明覺厲”，已經(jīng)成為現(xiàn)代人日常表達(dá)的“潮詞”。

2018年在網(wǎng)上也涌現(xiàn)了一批好玩的熱詞、潮詞，下面我挑選了十個(gè)我認(rèn)為最好玩的，并對(duì)其進(jìn)行了英譯，還加上了我的英文點(diǎn)評(píng)，供大家閱讀。

1. 隱形貧困人口

The invisible poor

定義：指有些人看起來每天有吃有喝有玩，但實(shí)際上非常窮。

侃哥點(diǎn)評(píng)：Some people seem to live a good life, eating, drinking and being merry every day, but actually they have serious financial problems.

*merry：adj. 歡愉的、嬉戲作樂的

*invisible：adj. 隱形的

2. 排遣式進(jìn)食

Eating to dispel loneliness

定義：一點(diǎn)也不餓的狀態(tài)下，總想吃點(diǎn)東西，僅僅因?yàn)樽彀秃芗拍?/p>

侃哥點(diǎn)評(píng)：Some people eat not because they are hungry, but because they want to dispel the loneliness of their mouths.

*dispel：vt. 排解、驅(qū)散

*loneliness：n. 寂寞

3. 快消品

Things prone to disappearance

定義：購買后總會(huì)很快消失不見的物品，比如雨傘、指甲刀等。

侃哥點(diǎn)評(píng)：Strangely, some newly-bought things are always gone without any trace, such as umbrellas and nail clippers.

*prone to：（形容詞短語）有…傾向的

*trace：蹤跡

4. 一望無際

No hairline in sight

定義：一眼過去，看不到發(fā)際線。

侃哥點(diǎn)評(píng)：Do you think of someone who is so bald that no hairline is in sight?

*in sight：在視線中

5. 赤裸裸的威脅

An absolute threat

定義：身材完美的人發(fā)布過于裸露的秀身材的照片，從而對(duì)肥胖人士造成壓力與不安。

侃哥點(diǎn)評(píng)：Some people never know the pictures of their perfect bodies they share on social media may hurt the feeling of their fat friends.

6. 間歇性迷信

Intermittent superstition

定義：有些人看自己的星座分析時(shí)，看到夸自己的內(nèi)容便不住地點(diǎn)頭，看到說自己不好的便迅速跳過。

侃哥點(diǎn)評(píng)：It usually happens when people read the analysis of their constellations. When they read something good, they will believe in it, but when they read something bad, they will sneeze at it.

*intermittent：adj. 間歇性的

*superstitious：adj.迷信的

*constellation：n. 星座

7. 蚊愛

Mosquito’s love

定義：指蚊子對(duì)某一類人的特殊感情。一群人坐在一起，蚊子不咬別人，光咬你。

侃哥點(diǎn)評(píng)：It’s a very special emotion from mosquitos. When a group of people sit together, a mosquito only sucks your blood.

8. 回光返照式的友情

Flash-in-the-pan friendship

定義：有些朋友要么不聯(lián)系，一聯(lián)系起來恨不得把這輩子的話都說完。

侃哥點(diǎn)評(píng)：Some friends seem “dead” in your contact list. But once a conversation is started between you two, nothing can stop it.

9. 萬能杠律

Almighty contrarians

定義：只要“杠精”們想抬杠，就沒有他們找不出來的角度。

侃哥點(diǎn)評(píng)：There are a kind of people called “contrarians”. If they like, they will find any possible angle to contradict you.

*almighty：adj. 全能的

*contrarian：n. 持相反意見者（杠精）

*contradict：vt. 反駁、否定

10. 好運(yùn)絕緣體

a jinx

定義：指抽獎(jiǎng)抽不到，戀愛談不上，睡覺睡不著，學(xué)習(xí)學(xué)不好，游戲菜到爆…反正做啥啥不成的人。

侃哥點(diǎn)評(píng)：Be nice to unlucky ones around you. Maybe they are experiencing “the unbearable lightness of being”.

*jinx：倒霉蛋
