美國佛羅里達州一家法院7月13日裁定，備受民眾關(guān)注的17歲非洲裔少年特雷翁?馬丁槍殺案的被告人喬治?齊默爾曼被判無罪當庭釋放，同時陪審團也沒有對其做出過失殺人判決。

After a year and a half of living as a hermit, George Zimmerman emerged from a Florida courthouse a free man, cleared of all charges in the shooting of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin.

在經(jīng)歷了一年半隱士般的生活后，喬治?齊默爾曼走出佛羅里達州的一家法院，重獲自由，他在17歲少年特雷翁?馬丁槍殺案中的所有指控均被盼不成立。

齊默爾曼“被判無罪”有三種表達，一個是someone is cleared of all charges，例句：She was cleared of all charges and walked out of the court right after the verdict. （她被判無罪，當庭釋放。）另一個是acquittal，名詞，是法院所做出的正式“無罪判決”，動詞形式為someone is acquitted，如，Zimmerman is acquitted；還有一個是find someone not guilty，如：A jury found him not guilty of second-degree murder。與之意思相反的“判定有罪，證明有罪”可用to convict someone of / to declare someone guilty表示，如：He was convicted of murder and sentenced to life imprisonment （他被判謀殺罪名成立，判處終身監(jiān)禁。）
