全國(guó)宣傳思想工作會(huì)議21日至22日在北京召開。中共中央總書記、國(guó)家主席、中央軍委主席習(xí)近平出席會(huì)議并發(fā)表重要講話。

He called for solid publicity and ideological work to unite the people to embrace shared ideals, convictions, values, and moral standards, thus making greater contributions to the overall situation of the Party and the state.
習(xí)近平強(qiáng)調(diào)，推動(dòng)宣傳思想工作不斷強(qiáng)起來，促進(jìn)全體人民在理想信念、價(jià)值理念、道德觀念上緊緊團(tuán)結(jié)在一起，為服務(wù)黨和國(guó)家事業(yè)全局作出更大貢獻(xiàn)。

Xi said decisions and plans made by the CPC Central Committee since the 18th CPC National Congress in 2012 are correct and that officials on the publicity and ideological front are reliable. He asked for taking "unity of thinking and gathering strength" as the central part of publicity and ideological work.
習(xí)近平指出，黨的十八大以來黨中央關(guān)于宣傳思想工作的決策部署是完全正確的，宣傳思想戰(zhàn)線廣大干部是完全值得信賴的。必須把統(tǒng)一思想、凝聚力量作為宣傳思想工作的中心環(huán)節(jié)。

In order to do a better publicity and ideological work under the new circumstances, Xi underlined holding high the banner of Marxism and socialism with Chinese characteristics. Xi stressed the importance of taking a firm hold on maintaining the right tone in public communication to boost morale and raise people's spirits in the Party and across the country.
習(xí)近平強(qiáng)調(diào)，做好新形勢(shì)下宣傳思想工作，必須要高舉馬克思主義、中國(guó)特色社會(huì)主義的旗幟。要牢牢把握正確輿論導(dǎo)向，唱響主旋律，把全黨全國(guó)人民士氣鼓舞起來、精神振奮起來。

He called for efforts to promote socialist cultural-ethical progress and cultivate and observe core socialist values to foster a new generation capable of shouldering the mission of national rejuvenation. He also stressed adhering to the path of socialist culture with Chinese characteristics and developing a great socialist culture in China.
建設(shè)社會(huì)主義精神文明、培育和踐行社會(huì)主義核心價(jià)值觀，提高人民思想覺悟、道德水準(zhǔn)、文明素養(yǎng)，培養(yǎng)能夠擔(dān)當(dāng)民族復(fù)興大任的時(shí)代新人。要堅(jiān)持中國(guó)特色社會(huì)主義文化發(fā)展道路，發(fā)展社會(huì)主義先進(jìn)文化。

"We will improve our ability to engage in international communication so as to tell China's stories well, make the voice of China heard, and present a true, multi-dimensional, and panoramic view of China to the world," Xi said.
習(xí)近平指出，要推進(jìn)國(guó)際傳播能力建設(shè)，講好中國(guó)故事、傳播好中國(guó)聲音，向世界展現(xiàn)真實(shí)、立體、全面的中國(guó)。

Developing a socialist ideology that has the ability to unite and the power to inspire the people is a strategic task for the whole Party, especially those on the publicity and ideological front, Xi noted.
習(xí)近平指出，建設(shè)具有強(qiáng)大凝聚力和引領(lǐng)力的社會(huì)主義意識(shí)形態(tài)，是全黨特別是宣傳思想戰(zhàn)線必須擔(dān)負(fù)起的一個(gè)戰(zhàn)略任務(wù)。

Publicity and ideological work should play a key part in fostering a new generation capable of shouldering the mission of national rejuvenation, Xi said, adding that the top priority should be fostering firm faith.
習(xí)近平強(qiáng)調(diào)，宣傳思想工作是做人的工作的，要把培養(yǎng)擔(dān)當(dāng)民族復(fù)興大任的時(shí)代新人作為重要職責(zé)。重中之重是要以堅(jiān)定的理想信念筑牢精神之基。

People who work in the art and cultural sectors should continue to produce masterpieces that laud the Party, the motherland, the people, and the heroes, he said.
習(xí)近平指出，廣大文化文藝工作者要不斷推出謳歌黨、謳歌祖國(guó)、謳歌人民、謳歌英雄的精品力作。

Noting that China's traditional culture serves as the cultural foundation of the Chinese nation, Xi said that its vision, concepts, values, and moral norms not only constitute the ideological and spiritual core of Chinese but are also valuable for addressing the issues that humanity faces.
習(xí)近平強(qiáng)調(diào)，中華優(yōu)秀傳統(tǒng)文化是中華民族的文化根脈，其蘊(yùn)含的思想觀念、人文精神、道德規(guī)范，不僅是我們中國(guó)人思想和精神的內(nèi)核，對(duì)解決人類問題也有重要價(jià)值。

Xi also emphasized enhancing the overall Party leadership in publicity and ideological work.
習(xí)近平指出，要加強(qiáng)黨對(duì)宣傳思想工作的全面領(lǐng)導(dǎo)。
