中共中央總書記、國家主席、中央軍委主席習(xí)近平2月22日上午在北京人民大會(huì)堂會(huì)見探月工程嫦娥五號(hào)任務(wù)參研參試人員代表并參觀月球樣品和探月工程成果展覽，充分肯定探月工程特別是嫦娥五號(hào)任務(wù)取得的成就。

Xi stressed promoting the lunar exploration spirit and giving full play to the advantages of the new system of pooling national resources and strengths to ascend the peak of science and technology and serve the country's overall development. He emphasized embarking on a new interplanetary exploration journey step by step, promoting the innovative development of China's space exploration cause, and making greater contributions to humanity's peaceful use of space.
他強(qiáng)調(diào)，要弘揚(yáng)探月精神，發(fā)揮新型舉國體制優(yōu)勢，勇攀科技高峰，服務(wù)國家發(fā)展大局，一步一個(gè)腳印開啟星際探測新征程，不斷推進(jìn)中國航天事業(yè)創(chuàng)新發(fā)展，為人類和平利用太空作出新的更大貢獻(xiàn)。

Li Keqiang, Li Zhanshu, Wang Yang, Wang Huning, Zhao Leji, and Han Zheng, all members of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, also attended the event.

Xi said that the success of the Chang'e-5 mission marked the conclusion of a three-step lunar exploration program which consisted of orbiting, landing on the moon, and returning with samples. It is another significant achievement in overcoming difficulties by employing the advantages of the new system of pooling national resources and strengths. It is a vital milestone in the development of China's space endeavor.
習(xí)近平強(qiáng)調(diào)，嫦娥五號(hào)任務(wù)的圓滿成功，標(biāo)志著探月工程“繞、落、回”三步走規(guī)劃圓滿收官，是發(fā)揮新型舉國體制優(yōu)勢攻堅(jiān)克難取得的又一重大成就，是航天強(qiáng)國建設(shè)征程中的重要里程碑，對我國航天事業(yè)發(fā)展具有十分重要的意義。

Xi extended his congratulations to those who have participated in China's lunar exploration program over the past 17 years. He said they have promoted the lunar exploration spirit of pursuing dreams, daring to explore, cooperating in tackling difficulties and win-win cooperation, and have achieved new heights in science and technology.
17年來，參與探月工程研制建設(shè)的全體人員大力弘揚(yáng)追逐夢想、勇于探索、協(xié)同攻堅(jiān)、合作共贏的探月精神，不斷攀登新的科技高峰，可喜可賀、令人欣慰。

Noting that exploring the vast universe is humanity's common dream, Xi urged implementing the fourth phase of China's lunar exploration program.
探索浩瀚宇宙是人類的共同夢想，要推動(dòng)實(shí)施好探月工程四期，一步一個(gè)腳印開啟星際探測新征程。

Xi called for giving full play to the advantages of the new system of pooling national resources and strengths, enhancing independent innovation, strengthening overall planning and working harder to promote the innovative development of China's space science, space technologies, and space applications.He also stressed actively conducting international cooperation and making better contributions to humanity's well-being.
要繼續(xù)發(fā)揮新型舉國體制優(yōu)勢，加大自主創(chuàng)新工作力度，統(tǒng)籌謀劃，再接再厲，推動(dòng)中國航天空間科學(xué)、空間技術(shù)、空間應(yīng)用創(chuàng)新發(fā)展，積極開展國際合作，為增進(jìn)人類福祉作出新的更大貢獻(xiàn)。

Since the lunar exploration program was officially approved, six exploration missions have been completed. The Chang'e-5 mission was the most complicated systemic space project in China that required the most diversified technologies. On Dec 17, 2020, the return capsule of the Chang'e-5 probe brought back the country's first samples from an extraterrestrial body, laying a strong foundation for China's future lunar and planetary explorations.
探月工程自立項(xiàng)以來圓滿完成六次探測任務(wù)。嫦娥五號(hào)任務(wù)作為我國復(fù)雜度最高、技術(shù)跨度最大的航天系統(tǒng)工程，于2020年12月17日首次實(shí)現(xiàn)我國地外天體采樣返回，為未來我國開展月球和行星探測奠定了堅(jiān)實(shí)基礎(chǔ)。
