Industry, wildfires and cars can release polluting greenhouse gases, which trap heat in our atmosphere.

These activities also release black carbon – a polluting particle.

High temperatures make wildfires more likely, releasing more pollution and raising temperatures in a growing cycle.

So cutting pollution is a win-win – for our health and for long-term climate change.
