Attention Deficit Disorder 兒童多動癥
A disorder characterized by a difficulty in retaining focus, especially on tasks, for long periods of time. As one of the most common reasons children are brought into therapy, ADD is often treated with the somewhat controversial drug Ritalin?, which is thought to work by stimulating the attention-focusing structures of the brain.
多動癥是一種常見的兒童心理疾病,這類孩子智力一般正常,但存在與實(shí)際年齡不相符合的注意力渙散、活動過多、沖動任性、自控能力差的特征，以致影響學(xué)習(xí)。多動癥的發(fā)病率為3%左右，男孩約為女孩的4-9倍。
有人認(rèn)為，多動癥的發(fā)生，可能是由于腦神經(jīng)遞質(zhì)數(shù)量不足，腦組織器質(zhì)性損害，或是遺傳因素造成。
近年，許多獨(dú)生子女家長“望子成龍”心切，由于教育方法不當(dāng)及早期智力開發(fā)過量，使外界環(huán)境的壓力遠(yuǎn)遠(yuǎn)超過了孩子力所能及的程度，是當(dāng)前造成兒童多動癥（注意力渙散、多動）的原因之一。另外，吃了食物中的人工染料，攝入含鉛量過度的飲食（不一定達(dá)到鉛中毒）也會導(dǎo)致多動。
此外，國內(nèi)資料表明，在多動癥患兒的不良家庭教育方式中，家長中所謂的"嚴(yán)格管教者"占61.7%，放任不管者占3.5%，過分溺愛者占7.05%。國外亦有學(xué)者認(rèn)為，暴力式的管教，會使患兒癥狀發(fā)展，并增加新的癥狀，如口吃、擠眉、眨眼。而對患兒漠不關(guān)心、放任自流和過于溺愛等，常可能促使癥狀出現(xiàn)，或使已有的癥狀加重。
