夏日清風：Valder fields（通訊員稿）

華南師范大學外文學院英語系04級學生。喜歡英文，喜歡聽英文歌曲，一首好的英文歌曲不僅讓我學到課文里學不到的知識，更讓我體味到歌者的人生。令我陶醉的不僅僅是動人的旋律，找到每首歌的觸動點，理解每首歌背后的故事才是我最大的享受。除了聽歌還喜歡看看書，聽歌讓我覺得享受，看書讓我覺得充實。
 歌手簡介
 Tamas Wells既是團名也是其中主唱的名字，這支來自澳洲墨爾本的Indie-pop樂團最早成立于2000年初，當時只有Owen Gray 及Ben Castle兩名成員。
他們發(fā)行的第一張EP“Hello Jealousy”是張帶點政治意味的民謠唱片，創(chuàng)作靈感來自當年的“第三世界國家債務(wù)解除運動”。第二年鼓手Nathan Collins的加入帶入了新的創(chuàng)作元素，而接下來緊密的巡回演出，也為Tamas Wells在當?shù)貥方绶e累了不少人氣。
2002年3月和8月，Tamas Wells分別發(fā)行了兩張廣受好評的EP（“Cigarettes, a Tie and a Free Magazine”及“Stitch In Time”），Ben中途退出，接著加入了Tamas和Anthony。知名制作人Tim Whitten在聽過“Stitch in Time”之后頗為欣賞，邀請他們來悉尼的Megaphon studios共同錄制新唱片。
20004年第一張專輯“A Mark On The Pane”曾被評為當年最美的唱片之一。
Valder Fields是Tamas Wells在緬甸北部的一個雨季里寫成的，當時Tamas正致力于一個艾滋病健康教育項目。他說這首歌屬于意識流創(chuàng)作，展示了人在追尋社會責任和渴望內(nèi)心安逸時的矛盾。Tamas認為，尋求社會自我和內(nèi)在自我之間的平衡才是正確對待現(xiàn)實的態(tài)度。
我聽之我見
平緩優(yōu)美的旋律，平淡純美的聲音，在身體里滲透和彌散……于是，你會忘記一切紛紛擾擾，讓幸福的感覺在周遭蔓延……
沒有什么激昂的東西，可是就這么平淡著。木吉他、配上簡單的鼓點、偶爾用些鋼琴做點綴，真的證明了往往最簡單直接的東西才是最動人的。
非常喜歡這種不著邊際，懶散，簡單，其實又充滿了鵝絨般輕飄。戴上耳機的同時覺得世界也開始變得簡單和透明讓人誤以為在陽光下，貪婪呼吸陽光的味道。
