“百米蛙后”羅雪娟無緣亞運一時在圈內(nèi)外激起一陣波瀾。日前，一直遮遮掩掩的“蛙后事件”終于有了說法——國家體育總局表示，羅雪娟正處于身體恢復(fù)階段，為2008奧運會的長遠目標，不能只為了1枚亞運金牌讓她去多哈折騰一趟。

compete in the Asian Games despite winning a spot in the Chinese team during
qualifying trials, state press reported.
The Athens Olympic 100-metre breaststroke gold medallist and twice world
champion was recovering from "health problems" and would focus on preparing for
the 2008 Olympics.
報道中的breaststroke就是“蛙泳”，指游泳者臉朝下浸入水中，同時象青蛙一樣蹬腳的一種泳姿。
