Patrice Motsepe, Founder and Executive Chairman of African Rainbow Minerals: China's economic development has contributed to the success of many economies in the world. Africa, in particular, has benefited immensely from China's economic growth. So we want China to continue succeeding, because the world needs China to continue succeeding. You have repeatedly said that urbanization is the biggest driver of China's economic development. China's urbanization is facing new challenges like transport, infrastructure constructionand the real estate market. How will the Chinese government push forward the new urbanization strategy? And how can foreign companies contribute to this process?

李克強(qiáng)：中國(guó)的城鎮(zhèn)化率只有約55%，而且還有相當(dāng)一部分人并不是完全固定生活在城市。中國(guó)的工業(yè)化伴隨著城鎮(zhèn)化還有一個(gè)長(zhǎng)期的過程，這也是巨大的內(nèi)需空間。中國(guó)在城鎮(zhèn)化快速發(fā)展當(dāng)中，也不是說沒有問題。比如說我們現(xiàn)在還有1億人口居住在棚戶區(qū)，必須給他們一個(gè)符合現(xiàn)代標(biāo)準(zhǔn)的居住條件，我們將繼續(xù)大規(guī)模地推進(jìn)棚戶區(qū)改造。同時(shí)還要推動(dòng)城市地下基礎(chǔ)設(shè)施的建設(shè)，中國(guó)在這方面要學(xué)習(xí)一些已經(jīng)實(shí)現(xiàn)城鎮(zhèn)化的國(guó)家的經(jīng)驗(yàn)。最近我們就在推動(dòng)城市地下綜合管廊的建設(shè)。
Li Keqiang: The current urbanization rate in China stands at about 55%. Among residents in urban areas, a large portion of them are not permanent urban residents, but a floating population. There will be a long process for China to achieve urbanization amidst the pursuit of industrialization. This also represents enormous space of domestic demand in China. China's rapid urbanization has not been all problem-free. For example, we still have about 100 million people living in urban rundown areas. These people deserve more decent living conditions. So we will continue to rebuild these run-down areas on a large scale. We will also further improve our underground infrastructure. In this respect, we need to draw on the experience of countries that have completed urbanization. We are taking steps to enhance urban underground utility pipeline network.

我們還要進(jìn)一步改善城市的發(fā)展規(guī)劃。中國(guó)和歐盟建立了城鎮(zhèn)化伙伴關(guān)系。我們不僅愿意向發(fā)達(dá)國(guó)家學(xué)習(xí)經(jīng)驗(yàn)，也愿意向發(fā)展中國(guó)家學(xué)習(xí)經(jīng)驗(yàn)，在城鎮(zhèn)化進(jìn)程中加強(qiáng)合作，因?yàn)椴徽撃膫€(gè)國(guó)家都有它的獨(dú)特優(yōu)勢(shì)，或者說比較優(yōu)勢(shì)。
We also need to improve our urban development plans. China and the EU have established a partnership on urbanization. We wish to draw on the experience of both developed and developing countries, and enhance international cooperation in urbanization. I believe that each country has its own unique strength and comparative advantage to offer in this process.

The Cape of Good Hope in South Africais very well known to the Chinese people. I visited a local company in Dalian this morning which actually named itself after this place in South Africa, hoping that this name will help the company attract more talented people and gain more managerial expertise and technology. China wants to work with South Africa to enhance our cooperation for win-win results.
