簡政放權(quán)是政府的自我革命，削權(quán)是要觸動利益的，它不是剪指甲，是割腕，忍痛也得下刀。
The pain (of reform) is still there and is becoming more acute. The government is reforming itself. Vested interests will be upset. This is not nail-clipping but taking a knife to one's own flesh. We are determined to keep going until the job is done.

以權(quán)謀公而不能謀私。
Government power can only be used for public good not for personal gains.

我想站在“互聯(lián)網(wǎng)+”的風口上順勢而為，會使中國經(jīng)濟飛起來。
I believe with the tail wind generated by our Internet Plus strategy, we will be able to bring Chinese economy off to a new level.

高手在民間，破繭就可以出蠶。
I believe there are a lot of people with brilliant talent among the people, and we must lift all the restrictions so they can bring their talent to best use.

環(huán)保法的執(zhí)行，不是棉花棒，是殺手锏。
We must ensure that the law will work as a powerful and effective tool in fighting pollution instead of being soft as cotton stick.

對于一個國家的領(lǐng)導人來說，不僅要繼承前人所創(chuàng)造的成就，也應(yīng)該擔負起前人的罪行所帶來的歷史責任。
For leaders of a country, they, while inheriting the historical achievements made by their forefathers, also need to shoulder the historical responsibilities for crimes committed in the past.

并不是中國向世界輸出了通縮，你說叫“輸出者”，實際上我們是“被通縮”。
Although the consumer price level has fallen quite low in China recently, the country is not the exporter of deflation to the world. Actually, China is "being deflated".

中國是不是最大的世界經(jīng)濟體。我在國外也經(jīng)常聽到有這種說法，總是有被忽悠的感覺。
Whether China has become the largest economy in the world? Actually I’ve heard such a view when I traveled abroad on foreign visits, but I always feel that there are some elements of misleading exaggeration in this conclusion.

中國是實實在在的發(fā)展中國家。
China is still a developing country in every sense of this term.

要說中國搭便車，中國這么大塊頭，搭誰的便車？中國是和大家一起在推車。
Talking about China’s free riding, for such a big country as ours, how could it be easy for it to get a free ride on anybody’s train? What China is doing is working with other countries in pursuit of common progress.

中美經(jīng)貿(mào)關(guān)系會更加密切，這個中美關(guān)系的“壓艙石”會更沉更穩(wěn)。
China-US business ties will get even closer and it will put the overall China-US relationship on more solid footing.
