Cecil B. DeMille Award是金球獎的一個榮譽獎項，由好萊塢外國記者協(xié)會（The Hollywood Foreign Press Association）頒給“對娛樂行業(yè)做出杰出貢獻”（outstanding contributions to the world of entertainment）的人士。該獎項首次頒發(fā)是在1952年第九屆金球獎頒獎典禮，獲獎者是導演Cecil B. DeMille，該獎項也因此得名。近五年的獲獎者分別是：摩根·福里曼（2012）、朱迪·福斯特（2013）、伍迪·艾倫（2014）、喬治·克魯尼（2015）、丹澤爾·華盛頓（2016）。

在頒獎現(xiàn)場，梅姨并沒有回顧自己的演藝生涯，也沒有一長串的感謝，而是火力全開抨擊美國當選總統(tǒng)特朗普。她提到了現(xiàn)場很多的提名演員，他們都不是在美國出生，但是在好萊塢投身藝術(shù)事業(yè)?！叭绻阉麄兌稼s出去，那你們就只能看足球和綜合格斗了”。
