孫楊奪冠領(lǐng)獎服受質(zhì)疑
While Sun Yang has done his country proud in the pool so far at the Asian Games, the superstar has stirred up some controversy with his sartorial choice. The 26-year-old powered to victory in the 200m freestyle final on Sunday but his choice of tracksuit on the podium got social media chattering. Viewers couldn't help but notice Sun's yellow 361° outfit differed from the white ANTA uniform worn by teammate Ji Xinjie, the bronze medalist. ANTA is the official uniform supplier of Team China, while 361° is Sun's personal sponsor. "For sports, it is very important to obey the rules - and that includes the associated business rules," sports industry expert Wang Qi wrote on Weibo. "While the whole Chinese delegation is wearing the white-and-red uniform of ANTA, only Sun Yang chose a yellow outfit of 361°. It's a violation of the rules." ANTA also waded into the argument, releasing the following statement: "As the official partner of the Chinese delegation and the Chinese Olympic Committee, ANTA designed the uniform for Chinese athletes on the podium. "We believe that the Chinese delegation should react fairly to the violation of regulations." Neither the Chinese delegation nor 361° have responded.

'傻瓜手機'銷量逆勢增長
Sales of "dumb phones" have risen as more and more of us attempt to escape smartphones and social media, figures have revealed. The devices, also known as "feature phones", allow users only to make and receive calls. They are seen as a way to switch off from constant online connectivity. The no-frills handsets are also popular with older shoppers. While global sales of smartphones increased by just 2% last year, sales of dumb phones rose by 5%, the figures show. It comes after a report by Ofcom found that 78% of Britons admitted they could not live without their smartphone, spending an average of two hours and 28 minutes online on it each day.

Over 80% of respondents to a recent consumer survey conducted by the Shanghai Consumer Council say an industry regulation that allows rainbow trout to be sold as salmon is misleading. It comes after the China Aquatic Products Processing and Marketing Alliance released a group standard earlier allowing rainbow trout to be categorized and sold as salmon. Over 18% of respondents also said they would not eat or purchase salmon in China because of the controversial new standard. "When we say salmon, we refer to deep-sea salmon in most cases - mainly from Norway or Alaska - which is totally different from Qinghai rainbow trout raised in fresh water," said Ge Jinhai, executive director of the Shanghai Aquatic Products Business and Trade Association. There are also safety concerns related to eating uncooked rainbow trout.

>Fake luxury goods seized
美繳獲海量假冒奢侈品
The US federal government said it had seized enough counterfeit Gucci bags, Hermes belts and Tory Burch purses to fill 22 shipping containers, in a six-year investigation into the importation and sale of fake luxury goods that ended on Thursday with charges filed against 33 people. The individuals were charged with conspiracy, trafficking in counterfeit goods and trademark counterfeiting. The goods were part of a scheme originating in China that stretched to warehouses in Queens and even to retailers in Illinois and California, officials from Homeland Security Investigations, a branch of the US Customs and Immigration Enforcement agency, announced at a news conference in New York on Thursday. "This is the largest investigation that our agency has had regarding the amount of counterfeit items," said Angel M Melendez, the special agent in charge of Homeland Security Investigations in New York. The goods seized were knockoffs of popular brands, including Gucci, Tory Burch, Hermes, Coach, Burberry, Michael Kors and Louis Vuitton. There was knockoff Chanel perfume, too, which concerned investigators since previous schemes had involved using animal urine instead of the perfume company's formula.
