Time to say farewell to "The Big Bang Theory": The hit CBS comedy will wrap things up in the spring of 2019 after its 12th season ends. "We are forever grateful to our fans for their support of The Big Bang Theory during the past 12 seasons," CBS, Chuck Lorre Productions and Warner Bros Television said in a statement. "We, along with the cast, writers and crew, are extremely appreciative of the show's success and aim to deliver a final season, and series finale, that will bring The Big Bang Theory to an epic creative close." The show has been nominated for 52 Emmys and received 10, and will be remembered as the longest-running multicamera series in television history.

Genter, a Green Member of Parliament and keen cyclist, chose pedal power for Sunday's 1 km journey from her home to Auckland City Hospital for the delivery. "My partner and I cycled because there wasn't enough room in the car for the support crew... but it also put me in the best possible mood!" she posted on social media alongside a picture of her with her bike. Genter announced later on Facebook that she'd given birth Tuesday evening to a healthy boy weighing nearly 4.3 kg.
