Liu Qiangdong, founder of Chinese e-commerce giant JD.com, has been accused of sexual misconduct in the US. Jail records from Hennepin County, Minneapolis show a man named Liu Qiangdong, born March 10, 1973, was arrested in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on suspicion of criminal sexual conduct. Liu was arrested at 11:32 pm on Aug 31, and released pending investigation at 4 pm Sept 1, according to jail records. JD.com said in a Sunday statement on its Weibo account its founder and CEO was falsely accused of sexual misconduct while in the US on a business trip. The statement said local police found no misconduct and that Liu would continue his trip as planned. Minneapolis Police Department spokesman John Elder said an investigation was ongoing and declined to provide details of the arrest, according to a Reuters report.

A study by digital publication "The Pudding" compared pocket sizes from 20 major jean brands, and found women's jean front pockets are 48% shorter and 6.5% narrower than men's. People would think the purpose of a jean pocket would be so someone could carry necessary items in it - such as a phone or wallet. However, the study showed while 100% of men's front pockets could fit an iPhoneX, only 40% of women's could fit the same model of smart phone, according to the study. The study also found only 10% of women's jeans could fit the wearer’s hand in the front pocket, while 100% of men's could. When the study looked at back pockets on jeans, it found there was only a slight difference between ones for women and ones for men. Women's back pockets were only 5% shorter and 2% narrower than men's.
