>Erase your ex from photos
Trying to move on from a failed romantic relationship can be hard, especially when your most beautiful travel photos feature your ex. A lot of people reluctantly delete such digital memories as part of a ritual known as "post-breakup purge", but thanks to a new online service called Edit My Ex, that's no longer necessary. As the name suggests, Edit My Ex allows people who want to erase any evidence of their ex from meaningful digital photos to just have them edited out and keep the photos. All you have to do is upload a photo to their website, let the image editing experts know what exactly you'd like erased and pay a £8.99 fee. In up to 48 hours, you'll get your photo back, ex-free. Mark Rofe, the creator of Edit My Ex, came up with the idea for the online service after editing the ex-partner of a friend who had just come out of a bad relationship from one of her best photos, and giving it to her as a gift. She was delighted and cried with laughter when she saw the photo, and Mark saw first-hand how powerful the effect of removing someone's ex from a photo could be. So he decided to make the service available to others as well.
Edit My Ex的創(chuàng)建人馬克?

A "crayfish school" in Hubei province has recently trended on micro-blogging platform Sina Weibo, because its students have all landed jobs before graduation. The school, officially a food and culture school, is affiliated with Jianghan Art Vocational College in Qianjiang city, and offers two-year vocational training in three majors: crayfish cooking and nutrition, catering management, and marketing. All 130 students at the school, some of whom still have one year to go, have secured employment, Gong Dingrong, Qianjiang mayor, told Beijing Youth Daily. These crayfish professionals have been signed up by large catering enterprises, logistics companies and crayfish-trading markets, said Gong. Given the good employment prospects, the school plans to this year expand its enrollment quota to 200 and offer new majors, including crayfish farming, to meet the industry's changing demands.

>Hawking honored on 50p coin
Late professor Stephen Hawking has been honored on a new 50 pence coin inspired by his pioneering work on black holes. Designer Edwina Ellis said she wanted to reflect the way he "made difficult subjects accessible, engaging and relatable", in particular on black holes. The coin, which features a spiraling black hole, is available to buy from the Royal Mint's website - with prices ranging from £10 for a brilliant uncirculated version of the coin to £795 for a gold proof coin. The physicist died last year at the age of 76, having become one of the most renowned leaders in his field. He now joins an elite group of scientists to have a commemorative coin, including Sir Isaac Newton and Charles Darwin.

>50 caught in admissions scam
Wealthy parents collectively paid tens of millions of dollars to buy places for their children at elite US universities, authorities have alleged, in charges that expose one of the most sweeping cheating scandals in US higher education. In a criminal complaint filed in Boston, the justice department accused 50 individuals - including prominent financiers and famous actors - of engaging in a scheme to bribe college entrance exam administrators and university coaches. An FBI affidavit filed in support of the complaint listed Georgetown University, Stanford University and Yale University among the eight institutions affected. Among the 32 parents charged were Gordon Caplan, co-chairman of the law firm Willkie Farr & Gallagher; William McGlashan, a top executive at private equity firm TPG; and Hollywood actresses Felicity Huffman and Lori Loughlin. The admissions scheme was run by a college test preparation service in Newport Beach, California, called The Edge College & Career Network founded by William Singer, who has pleaded guilty to racketeering. According to the affidavit, parents paid about $25 million in such bribes from 2011 to 2018.
