8月5日，國(guó)家主席習(xí)近平向新冠疫苗合作國(guó)際論壇首次會(huì)議發(fā)表書(shū)面致辭。

習(xí)近平指出，今年5月，我在全球健康峰會(huì)上宣布了中國(guó)支持全球團(tuán)結(jié)抗疫的五項(xiàng)舉措，其中包括倡議設(shè)立新冠疫苗合作國(guó)際論壇，由疫苗生產(chǎn)研發(fā)國(guó)家、企業(yè)、利益攸關(guān)方一道探討推進(jìn)全球疫苗公平合理分配。
At the Global Health Summit this May, Xi announced five measures to support global solidarity against COVID-19. These include the proposal of setting up an international forum on vaccine cooperation for vaccine-developing and producing countries, companies, and other stakeholders to explore ways of promoting fair and equitable distribution of vaccines worldwide.

我期待本次論壇會(huì)議為全球疫苗公平可及邁出新步伐，為發(fā)展中國(guó)家團(tuán)結(jié)合作注入新動(dòng)力，為人類(lèi)早日戰(zhàn)勝疫情作出新貢獻(xiàn)。
"I hope this forum will promote the accessibility and fair distribution of vaccines around the world, strengthen solidarity and cooperation in developing countries, and make new contributions for an early victory against the pandemic," he said.

習(xí)近平強(qiáng)調(diào)，中國(guó)始終秉持人類(lèi)衛(wèi)生健康共同體理念，向世界特別是廣大發(fā)展中國(guó)家提供疫苗，積極開(kāi)展合作生產(chǎn)。這是疫苗作為全球公共產(chǎn)品的應(yīng)有之義。

中國(guó)會(huì)繼續(xù)盡己所能，幫助廣大發(fā)展中國(guó)家應(yīng)對(duì)疫情。今年全年，中國(guó)將努力向全球提供20億劑疫苗。中國(guó)決定向“新冠疫苗實(shí)施計(jì)劃”捐贈(zèng)1億美元，用于向發(fā)展中國(guó)家分配疫苗。
China will strive to provide 2 billion COVID-19 vaccine doses to the world throughout this year and offer 100 million US dollars to COVAX. The 100 million US dollars to COVAX will mainly go to the distribution of vaccines to developing countries, he said, adding that China would do its best to help developing countries cope with the COVID-19 pandemic.
