The Ministry of Education launched its college graduate recruitment week on Monday. The event, which aims to expand employment opportunities and help graduates overcome employment issues caused by the epidemic, began both online and offline in Henan, Beijing, Jilin, Shandong, Chongqing and Yunnan.
為助力廣大高校應(yīng)屆畢業(yè)生克服疫情影響順利求職，5月9日教育部啟動2022屆高校畢業(yè)生就業(yè)促進(jìn)周?；顒釉诤幽相嵵菰O(shè)主會場，在北京、吉林、山東、重慶、云南設(shè)5個(gè)分會場，以線上、線下方式同步啟動。

The offline events are expected to provide more than 600,000 positions, while the online employment service will offer more than 800,000, the ministry said.
線下活動預(yù)計(jì)為畢業(yè)生提供超過60萬個(gè)職位，線上招聘會提供崗位超過80萬個(gè)。

Some 15,000 online and offline job fairs are expected across the country during the week.
就業(yè)促進(jìn)周期間，各地各高校將舉辦各級各類線上線下招聘會預(yù)計(jì)超過1.5萬場。

China will have a record 10.76 million college graduates this year, 1.67 million more than last year.
今年全國普通高校畢業(yè)生總規(guī)模是1076萬，同比增加了167萬。

>County towns prioritized in urbanization
縣城城鎮(zhèn)化建設(shè)意見出臺

China has released guidelines demanding various localities promote urbanization with a focus on county towns. The guidelines, jointly issued by the General Office of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and the State Council General Office, said the move aims to better meet the needs of rural residents to find jobs and settle down in county towns.
為更好滿足農(nóng)民到縣城就業(yè)安家需求，中共中央辦公廳、國務(wù)院辦公廳近日印發(fā)《關(guān)于推進(jìn)以縣城為重要載體的城鎮(zhèn)化建設(shè)的意見》。

The guidelines list a series of measures including developing competitive industries, creating more jobs in county towns and strengthening ecological conservation, adding by 2025, major progress should be seen.
《意見》提出培育發(fā)展特色優(yōu)勢產(chǎn)業(yè)、穩(wěn)定擴(kuò)大縣城就業(yè)崗位、加強(qiáng)生態(tài)保護(hù)等建設(shè)任務(wù)，并明確發(fā)展目標(biāo)：到2025年，以縣城為重要載體的城鎮(zhèn)化建設(shè)取得重要進(jìn)展。

李家超當(dāng)選香港特首人選

The election of the sixth-term chief executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region was held on Sunday, with John Lee declared the winner.
在5月8日舉行的香港特別行政區(qū)第六任行政長官選舉中，李家超高票當(dāng)選第六任行政長官人選。

The 64-year-old former chief secretary for administration won 1,416 votes from Election Committee members in the first chief executive election in the HKSAR since the 2021 reforms to its electoral system.
這是完善香港選舉制度后的首次行政長官選舉，點(diǎn)票結(jié)果顯示，現(xiàn)年64歲的李家超獲得1416張支持票。

"I will faithfully and resolutely undertake this historic mission and shoulder the great responsibility to unite and lead the 7.4 million Hong Kong residents to open a new chapter," Lee said when meeting the press after the election.
李家超在選舉結(jié)果揭曉后表示，他將忠誠堅(jiān)毅地肩負(fù)起責(zé)任，團(tuán)結(jié)和帶領(lǐng)740萬香港居民，一同為香港開新篇。

>China to rebound despite US tightening
專家:中國經(jīng)濟(jì)將在近期回升

The Chinese economy is expected to maintain its resilience and may rebound in the coming months with stronger policy support and better epidemic containment, bucking the negative impact of a tightening in US monetary policy, analysts said on Thursday.
分析人士5月5日表示，在更有力的政策支持和更有效的疫情防控之下，預(yù)計(jì)中國經(jīng)濟(jì)將保持其韌性，并可能在未來幾個(gè)月內(nèi)實(shí)現(xiàn)回升，抵御美國貨幣政策緊縮帶來的消極影響。
