我們身邊的低頭族越來越多，上下班的路上，看手機(jī)；吃飯閑聊天時(shí)，看手機(jī)；網(wǎng)購搶菜買東西，看手機(jī)；以及現(xiàn)在正在看手機(jī)的你......

那么，問題來了，“看手機(jī)”的“看”，是see，是look還是watch？

其實(shí)都不對！

那到底應(yīng)該怎么說？我們先來說說這些“看”。

See

“See”的意思是用眼睛注意到或意識(shí)到(某人或某物)。

See means to notice or become aware of (someone or something) by using your eyes.

例如：

The moment we saw the house, we knew we wanted to buy it.

我們一看到這房子就知道我們要買。

He crouched down so he couldn’t be seen.

他蹲下來好讓別人看不見他。

Can I see your ticket, please?

我能看看你的票嗎？

注意，see也可以表示理解（ to see can also mean to understand）。

例如：

I see what you mean.

我明白你的意思。

Look

動(dòng)詞“l(fā)ook”的意思是有意識(shí)地運(yùn)用“see”的能力。換句話說，它的意思是付出努力或注意力去看某物。一般后邊跟at或者for。

The verb to look means to deliberately apply the ability to see. In other words, it means to make a conscious effort to see something. To look is usually followed by at or for.

例如：

If you look carefully you can see that the painting represents a human figure.

如果仔細(xì)看，就會(huì)看出畫上是一個(gè)人形。

‘It’s time we left,’ Ian said, looking at his watch.

“我們該走了?！币炼骺戳丝幢碚f。

The men all turned to look at her as she entered the room.

她走進(jìn)房間的時(shí)候，所有男人都轉(zhuǎn)過來看她。

Watch

Watch的意思是看（某人或某事）一段時(shí)間，注意正在發(fā)生的事情。

Watch means to look at (someone or something) for an amount of time and pay attention to what is happening.

例如：

We sat and watched the sunset.

我們坐下來看日落。

Watch carefully. You may learn something.

仔細(xì)看，也許你能學(xué)到點(diǎn)東西。

除此之外，watch也有留心，注意某事，照看的意思。

例如：

Watch your head on the shelf.

小心頭，別碰到架子。

She watches the kids for us occasionally.

她偶爾會(huì)替我們照看孩子。

★“See”更側(cè)重于我們眼睛有沒有看東西的能力，可不可以看到東西。

★“Look”則是視線上的注目的“看”。

★“Watch”區(qū)別更大些，可以理解為“觀看”，需要看一段時(shí)間。

但是可以細(xì)想一下，我們說的“看”手機(jī)，真的就只是“看”著么？

當(dāng)然不是，是瀏覽、是查看，所以“看手機(jī)”的正確表達(dá)可以說：

check the phone ：表達(dá)下意識(shí)的查看手機(jī)，看看有沒有新消息。

look through the phone：look through 意為查看，翻閱，look through the phone 就是翻看手機(jī)。

例如：

Don't check / look through your phone at the dinner table.

別老在吃飯的時(shí)候看手機(jī)。

“See, Look, Watch”你區(qū)分開了嗎？
