China will further promote integrated and high-quality development of Beijing's sub-center and neighboring areas, according to the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC).
國家發(fā)展改革委近日表示，我國將推動北京城市副中心與周邊區(qū)域一體化高質(zhì)量發(fā)展。

To promote the coordinated high-quality development of Beijing's sub-center in Tongzhou District and the neighboring Sanhe City, Xianghe County and Dachang Hui Autonomous County in Hebei Province, is a key task in promoting the coordinated development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.
推動北京市通州區(qū)與河北省三河、大廠、香河三縣市一體化高質(zhì)量發(fā)展是“十四五”推進(jìn)京津冀協(xié)同發(fā)展的一項重點(diǎn)工作。

An NDRC senior official said it will help guarantee Beijing's capital functions, resolve urban ills, support the construction of Beijing's sub-center, improve Beijing's spatial layout and economic structure, and stimulate the development of surrounding areas.
國家發(fā)展改革委負(fù)責(zé)同志表示，這將有利于加強(qiáng)對首都功能的服務(wù)保障，有效治理北京“大城市病”；有利于支持北京城市副中心建設(shè)，優(yōu)化北京城市空間布局和經(jīng)濟(jì)結(jié)構(gòu)，加快打造區(qū)域發(fā)展新高地。

The official highlighted major tasks in five areas, including coordinated pollution control, infrastructure connectivity, industrial coordination, public service sharing, and reform and innovation.
下一階段通州區(qū)與北三縣一體化高質(zhì)量發(fā)展將落實五方面重點(diǎn)任務(wù)：一是進(jìn)一步加強(qiáng)生態(tài)環(huán)境聯(lián)控聯(lián)治。二是進(jìn)一步推進(jìn)基礎(chǔ)設(shè)施互聯(lián)互通。三是進(jìn)一步密切產(chǎn)業(yè)發(fā)展協(xié)同協(xié)作。四是進(jìn)一步促進(jìn)公共服務(wù)共建共享。五是加大改革創(chuàng)新力度。

By 2035, Tongzhou and the three places in Hebei will foster a more mature and complete system for integrated high-quality development. The ecological environment will see fundamental improvement, a smart, green, efficient and convenient public transport system will be built, and an innovation-led modern economic system will be established.
到2035年，通州區(qū)與北三縣一體化高質(zhì)量發(fā)展體制機(jī)制更加成熟完善，生態(tài)環(huán)境質(zhì)量根本改善，智能綠色、高效便捷的公共交通體系建成，創(chuàng)新引領(lǐng)的現(xiàn)代化經(jīng)濟(jì)體系基本建立。

> Streaming host fined for eating protected species
烹食噬人鯊，網(wǎng)紅博主被罰！

A live video streaming host who illegally bought a great white shark — an animal under national protection — and posted a video cooking it last year, was fined 125,000 yuan ($18,427), authorities in Southwest China's Sichuan province said on Sunday.
據(jù)四川省相關(guān)部門29日發(fā)布的消息，2022年一名網(wǎng)絡(luò)主播非法購買國家重點(diǎn)保護(hù)野生動物大白鯊（又名“噬人鯊”）并發(fā)布一則烹食鯊魚的視頻，有關(guān)部門依法對其處罰12.5萬元。

An investigation found the host surnamed Jin spent 7,700 yuan to buy the shark via Taobao, a major online shopping site, last April, according to the market supervision bureau in Nanchong of Sichuan.
據(jù)四川南充市市場監(jiān)督管理局，經(jīng)查，涉案當(dāng)事人金某某，2022年4月通過淘寶網(wǎng)，以7700元人民幣的價格購得鯊魚一條。

Jin cooked and ate the shark, and posted video doing so to video-sharing platforms Kuaishou and Douyin, the bureau said in a news release, adding the video went viral quickly and topped the trend charts of both social networks.
該部門通報稱，金某某先后對該鯊魚進(jìn)行擺拍和烹食，并將烹食該鯊魚的視頻發(fā)布到網(wǎng)絡(luò)平臺快手和抖音，此后該視頻在網(wǎng)絡(luò)上流傳迅速成為全網(wǎng)熱搜。

After DNA identification of a tissue sample, the shark was identified as a great white shark, a wild animal under second-class national protection. The shark cooked by Jin was worth 25,000 yuan, the bureau said.
根據(jù)殘體組織樣本DNA條形碼鑒定，當(dāng)事人購買烹食的鯊魚屬于《中國國家重點(diǎn)保護(hù)野生動物名錄》中的二級保護(hù)動物噬人鯊。（噬人鯊也被稱為“大白鯊”。）經(jīng)認(rèn)定，該噬人鯊價值2.5萬元。

Jin's actions violated the nation's Wildlife Protection Law, it said, and administrative punishment was meted out accordingly.

According to previous reports by local media, the hunter and seller of the shark were arrested last year by local police in East China's coastal Fujian province.

> US population center shifting south for first time

For the first time ever, the US population center is shifting south, the Associated Press reported.

Last year, the population of the South grew much faster than any other region, according to recent estimates from the US Census Bureau.

In contrast, the Northeast and Midwest are losing populations, and the West, which gained 153,000 people, would have lost population if not for immigration and more births than deaths.
