Peking University made waves with a unique course designed to combat student weight gain. "Physical Ability Enhancement: Exercise and Nutrition" boasts impressive results, with one-third of participants losing over 5 percent of their body weight and over half reducing their waist circumference by more than 5 centimeters.
北京大學日前開設了一門“減肥課”，引起了不小的轟動?！白屓种粚W生減重5%以上、半數學生腰圍降低5公分以上”打響了這們課程的名號。

The program specifically targets overweight and obese students, defined by a Body Mass Index (BMI) over 25.
這門課專門針對超重和肥胖的學生，只有BMI超過25的同學可以報名。

Obesity is generally measured using the body mass index (a person's weight in kilograms divided by the square of their height in meters). If the BMI exceeds 24, the person is considered overweight, and if it exceeds 28, this is considered obesity.
身體質量指數（BMI，Body Mass Index）通過體重（公斤）除以身高（米）的平方來計算的。BMI如果超過24，會被判定為超重，一旦超過28，則被視為肥胖。

One of the original intentions of teacher Zhang Xiaoyuan in launching the course was to help students who are anxious about physical fitness testing. On the other hand, "I also opened this course to help everyone establish the correct health concept. Our enrollment requirement is BMI over 25, as long as the weight or body fat is within the normal range, it is considered a normal body shape. These students do not need to lose weight." Zhang also hopes that through this special and very clear enrollment requirement, those students who do not need to lose weight will correctly view their body shape."
這門課的主講老師張曉園表示：“我開這門課也是想幫助（為體測）焦慮的同學行動起來，同時幫助大家樹立正確的健康觀念。我們的報名條件是BMI>25，只要體重或體脂在正常范圍內，就屬于正常身材，他們無需減肥。我也想幫助不需要減重的同學正確看待自己的身材?！?/p>

可以觸摸的文明！我國首家視障文化博物館揭牌

A museum was inaugurated Saturday in Beijing to provide the visually impaired people with tactile and auditory experiences.
近日，一家為視障人士提供觸覺和聽覺體驗的視障文化博物館在京揭幕。

The museum, with an exhibition area of about 1,050 square meters, displays over 700 exhibits.
該博物館展區(qū)面積約 1050平方米，展品數量700余件。

Set within the China Braille Library, it also features a section for popularizing ophthalmology knowledge.
它設立在中國盲文圖書館內，并設有愛眼護眼展廳。

At the inauguration ceremony, Lai Wei, head of China Braille Press, pledged efforts to build the museum into a comprehensive hub, encompassing an educational base, an exhibition center, and a center for research, exchange, and culture and leisure for the visually impaired people.
在揭幕儀式上，中國盲文出版社黨委書記、社長賴偉表示，視障文化博物館將打造成為視障文化的教育基地、視障文化的收藏和展示中心、視障文化的研究和交流中心以及視障群體的文化休閑中心。

> Word of the day丨 regulation of prepayment for elderly care services
每日一詞丨養(yǎng)老服務預收費監(jiān)管

A guideline on regulating prepayment for elderly care services has been issued by the Ministry of Civil Affairs and six other departments lately. The guideline encourages providing elderly care services through monthly payment. When prepayment is involved, it says, the maximum prepayment period for elderly service fees should not exceed 12 months.
民政部等七部門近日聯(lián)合發(fā)布關于加強養(yǎng)老機構預收費監(jiān)管的指導意見，鼓勵養(yǎng)老機構采用當月收取費用的方式，并規(guī)定養(yǎng)老服務費預收的周期最長不得超過12個月。

【知識點】

養(yǎng)老機構預收費是指養(yǎng)老機構提前向老年人或者其代理人收取一定額度費用，并承諾在一定時間內，按照服務協(xié)議約定提供相應養(yǎng)老服務的行為。養(yǎng)老機構預收的費用主要包括養(yǎng)老服務費、押金和會員費。養(yǎng)老服務費是指床位費、照料護理費、餐費等費用；押金是指為老年人就醫(yī)等應急需要、償還拖欠費用、賠償財物損失等作擔保的費用；會員費是指養(yǎng)老機構以“會員卡”“貴賓卡”等形式收取的，用于老年人獲得服務資格、使用設施設備、享受服務優(yōu)惠等的費用。

近年來，一些養(yǎng)老機構采取預收費方式運營，一定程度緩解了設施建設資金不足等問題，紓解了運營壓力。但是，也有少數養(yǎng)老機構出現(xiàn)了資金管理使用不規(guī)范，資金鏈斷裂后“退費難”“爆雷”“跑路”等問題，甚至有的不法分子實施非法集資、詐騙等犯罪行為，嚴重損害老年人合法權益，擾亂養(yǎng)老服務市場秩序。

為此，民政部、國家發(fā)展改革委、公安部、財政部、中國人民銀行、市場監(jiān)管總局、金融監(jiān)管總局聯(lián)合發(fā)布關于加強養(yǎng)老機構預收費監(jiān)管的指導意見，自2024年10月1日起施行，有效期5年。其中提到，主要目標是，2025年前，建立健全跨部門養(yǎng)老機構預收費監(jiān)管工作機制，協(xié)同監(jiān)管進一步優(yōu)化，預收費資金監(jiān)測預警、風險隱患排查和違法違規(guī)行為的處置能力有效提升，養(yǎng)老服務市場更加公平有序，非法集資風險隱患有效減少，老年人對養(yǎng)老服務消費的滿意度穩(wěn)步提高。
