我們平時會用“老黃瓜刷綠漆”或者“裝嫩”來形容那些上了年紀，但還把自己當年輕人、整天打扮很青春的人。其實，這種生活態(tài)度在國外的60后當中相當普遍，不過人家做得更到位，不但打扮年輕，做的事情也和年輕人保持同步，可謂名副其實的“外老里嫩”啊。
Downager is Generation Y in attitude but not in age. You often hear that young people are the early adopters of technology but actually the study shows that the baby boomers spend more on technology than any other generation. They're using the technology, they're connecting, they're social networking and they're texting their kids. The term "downager" reflects the growing "act younger, live younger" attitude of the over-60s.
Downager（暫譯為“外老里嫩族”）指上了年紀但生活態(tài)度卻與Y世代年輕人同步的人們。我們經(jīng)常會聽到人們說，年輕人是接受科技最早的人群，可是有研究發(fā)現(xiàn)嬰兒潮一代的人們花在科技上的功夫比任何一代人都要多。他們在運用科技，通過網(wǎng)絡與人聯(lián)系，上社交網(wǎng)站，而且還給他們的孩子發(fā)短信。Downager這個詞反映了他們60后這一代“做得年輕，活得年輕”的生活態(tài)度。
