“腦殘”這個詞近幾年很流行，而且用途很廣，可用來形容某個人、某件事，或者某些你看不上眼的電視節(jié)目。如果說某人“腦殘”，我們可以說someone is brain-impaired。假如想說某個節(jié)目“腦殘”則可以直接用teletrash這個詞表示。
Teletrash refers to television programs which target the least intelligent and the least sophisticated viewers. Such programs always center attention on crude or degrading behavior intended to titillate viewers, participants, or both.
Teletrash指面向低智商、頭腦簡單的觀眾播放的電視節(jié)目，即“腦殘節(jié)目”。這類節(jié)目往往會著重通過粗俗、低級的行為引起觀眾和節(jié)目參與者的興趣。
For example:
"What'd you do this weekend?"
你這個周末干嗎了？
"Not much. We drank beer and watched a lot of teletrash reruns. You?"
沒干嗎。我們邊喝啤酒邊看了一堆重播的腦殘節(jié)目。你呢？
