China has stepped up efforts to promote the green and low-carbon development of the country's energy sector over the past decade, an official report showed on Saturday.

國家統(tǒng)計局10月8日發(fā)布的黨的十八大以來經(jīng)濟社會發(fā)展成就系列報告顯示，在過去十年中，中國大力推動能源行業(yè)綠色低碳發(fā)展。

In 2021, the installed capacity of non-fossil energy power generation in China hit 1.12 billion kilowatts, accounting for 47 percent of the country's total installed capacity, according to the report released by the National Bureau of Statistics.

2021年非化石能源發(fā)電裝機容量達到11.2億千瓦，占發(fā)電總裝機容量的比重為47%。

The installed capacities of hydropower, wind power and solar power generation all exceeded 300 million kilowatts last year, leading globally for another year, the report said.

水電、風電、太陽能發(fā)電裝機均超過3億千瓦，連續(xù)多年穩(wěn)居世界首位。

Last year, energy consumption per unit of gross domestic product decreased by 26.4 percent from 2012, amounting to an equivalent saving of 1.4 billion tonnes of standard coal, it said.

2021年，我國單位國內生產(chǎn)總值（GDP）能耗比2012年累計降低26.4%，相當于節(jié)約和少用能源約14億噸標準煤。

The consumption share of clean energy also saw continuous growth. In 2021, coal accounted for 56 percent of the country's total energy consumption, down from 68.5 percent in 2012. In contrast, the share of natural gas rose from 4.8 percent to 8.9 percent during the period, it said.

清潔能源占比持續(xù)提升。2021年，煤炭占能源消費總量的比重由2012年的68.5%降低到56%，天然氣占比由4.8%上升到8.9%。
